The standard "General Purpose Valve Flanges and Butt Welded Steel Gate Valves" requires that the material of the valve stem nut should have sufficient load-bearing capacity and be made of copper alloy or nickel containing cast iron material with a minimum melting point above 954 ℃.

The standard "Steel globe valves and lift check valves with universal valve flange connections" requires that the material of the valve stem nut should have sufficient load-bearing performance and be made of copper alloy or nickel containing cast iron material with a minimum melting point above 954 ℃.

The standard "Universal Valve Diaphragm Valve" requires that the stem nut should be made of ductile iron or copper alloy material.

The general valve material standard requires that the valve stem nut should be made of cast aluminum bronze, cast aluminum brass, and cast manganese brass materials.
